Trip Overview

It is one of the best treks in central Nepal on non touristy area. This trek involves no flight, the mountain passes are not very difficult and the trekking region is relatively warmer. However, this trek offers authentic experience of unspoilt Tamang villages, beautiful farm terraces and superb views of Ganesh Himal and other mountains.

The trek starts after a few hours of drive along the Kathmandu to Dhunche highway. It passes through foothills and lowland farm terraces to ethnic Tamang villages on higher altitudes. Along the trail, the trek offers superb close views of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalaya. The highest altitude on this trek is the Shingla pass at 4200m followed by Pansang La pass at 4100 m. These passes are also two finest view points during the trek. The Ganesh Himal trek ends at Dhading besi from where we catch our transport to Kathmandu. It is a fully supported camping trek, our trekking crew will carry the luggage and supply, the camp cook will prepare hot meals for your and the Sherpas will fix the tents. Early morning jungle walks and safaris on elephant back are amongst the most popular activities. The jungle lodge can be reached from Kathmandu either by air or by private vehicle.

Culture/Heritage Tour

Nepal boasts a rich cultural diversity and it is well worth exploring. The Himalayan country of Nepal is a dream-world for many and reality for some. Once experienced they can never be forgotten, never dismissed from memory whether ones experience of them is visiting age-old Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries and royal palaces with amazing sculptures, paintings, legends and living rituals. Nepal is not only regarded as "Shangri-la" for adventurers but a scenic revelation and an educational in itself to all visitors. Once seen they become a part of you, habit-forming and intrusive. We have put our best effort to incorporate all cultural delights as well as natural beauty that Nepal has to offer, which you can chose depending on your time availability.

Bunjee Jumping

Nepal has become one of the best sites in the world for bungee jumping. The country’s first bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the roaring Bhote Koshi river, located close to the Nepal Tibet border (Kodari) just three hour’s drive from Kathmandu.

Water Rafting

Nepal is also popular as one of the best destinations for white water rafting in the world. Cruising down rushing river of crashing waves and swirling rapids can make up excitement of a lifetime. Nepal’s thundering waters, coming from the glaciers of the mighty Himalaya provide unmatched thrills for rafting & immersing oneself in the beautiful landscape.

Paragliding

Paragliding is relatively new adventure sport in Nepal, and can be truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for adventure seekers. We experience unparalleled scenic grandeur sharing airspace with Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles, and kites, while floating over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungles, with a fantastic view of majestic Himalayas. For the last three years this activity has been in operation in Pokhara, and it now is an internationally recognized destination for free flight enthusiasts
