This is a far and remote region of myths and adventures! This remote, rugged land of elevated open valleys, long ridges, temperate forests, alpine meadows and virgin rivers of western region of Nepal has been visited by very few numbers of westerners. The region still holds the remnants of the bygone era, and one can find sculptured temples, stone pillars and carving in the desolate Tibetan-like plateau. Compared to Nepal's other popular trekking regions,this region offers the feeling of real Nepal with its rural life style of the people and their centuries- old culture. Only full board camping treks provide access to this remote region and it requires a special permit which cost higher than other normal trekking routes.
