This is one of the challenging treks in Nepal that takes you to Nepal’s most difficult cliff passes like -Sherpani Col, West Col and Amphu Lapcha La Pass. The trail goes through serene pastures of hidden Arun valley, ascending and descending steep slopes. While trekking, you will have a chance to see Mt. Makalu (8463m.) to the north and the Island Peak (6160m) to the west corner. After crossing over Amphu Lapeha La Pass you will again climb Island Peak and continue your trek to Chukung. It requires ropes to cross over Amphu Lapcha La Pass and to summit Island Peak. This trek requires fully logistic support as it is a truly adventurous journey in a remote part of eastern Nepal.
